At this point I have bought (on eBay, and am reselling) two PCMIA cards (one IntelPRO/Wireless 2011B Lan PC Card, one Realtek). I also am waiting for delivery of one CISCO 350 PCMIA card, which I arranged to change at the last minute for a 340. During this long and difficult (for me at least) procedure, I sent one message to Jonas which went unanswered. Maybe he did not receive it. I repeat a previous suggestion for the Warpstock wifi class: attempt to generate a list of OS/2-compatible PCMIA wifi adapters, each with an AVAILABLE driver. I suspect the list will be short, unfortunately. I propose one item: CISCO 340 and the driver for it available on Hobbes. The present message replaces my previous one, which I gladly retract if Jonas's feelings were hurt by it. I concur that Jonas's site is valuable to the community. mg On Thu, 16 Sep 2004 22:27:17 -0400, Lewis G Rosenthal wrote: |Jonas, there is no doubt that os2warp.be has proven to be an invaluable |resource to many of us.
