What makes you comment that you think OS/2 is somehow deficeint? The reasons people are trying to talk you out of making a currently wired computer wireless is because of the somewhat unreliable nature of WiFi. It's best to have a wired network for reliablity and security. I installed a PCI WiFi card in my heavily used desktop system at home and I was always having trouble with it in Windoze and OS/2. Part of the problem is that our phone is a 2.4 Ghz phone and caused me to loose my connection everytime my wife got a call, she likes to walk all over the house when on the phone. I switched it back to wire and that's where it will probably stay. Also I have a LinkSys wireless bridge connecting two wired networks between my house and workshop. It works great most of the time but I found out the hard way not to run an executable program across the wireless network like I can with the wireless. I have to copy the file/program to the local computer and then run it. I have this reliability problem with Windoze, OS/2 and Linux so again it isn't an OS/2 deficeincy. OS/2 makes the grade very well with wireless networks in my opinion.
