|to be located in a different location from the desktop can I see a reason
|to do this.  Almost all wifi routers include some wired ports also.

Julian,
-If it's that easy, what reason is there NOT to do it?
-My reason to do it: avoid cables going from the DSL box (which has to be close to the TV) to the computer den.
-IMHO os2.be is not clear on either PCI cards or drivers for them
I'm afraid this is going to turn out to be a case where os/2 /eCS does not make the grade.
