I _guess_ you mean that Wireless LAN Monitor does not _show_ the SSID in the tooltip text. Nevertheless you very well _select_ a connection to a partner with a given SSID once you entered the SSI into the properties of a connection profile, no matter if you did that within WifiState or Wireless LAN Monitor. So may that have been a misconception ?
