BTW, the Wireless LAN monitor works with the Cisco 350 only to the extent of showing the connection; I have to use WifiStat to choose the SSID to use.
 

Entering the SSID in the propetties of a connection profile within WifiState or Wireless LAN Monitor leads to the very same profile data, so ther can be no difference.

I _guess_ you mean that Wireless LAN Monitor does not _show_ the SSID in the tooltip text. Nevertheless you very well _select_ a connection to a partner with a given SSID once you entered the SSI into the properties of a connection profile, no matter if you did that within WifiState or Wireless LAN Monitor. So may that have been a misconception ?

BTW, a forthcoming version will include the SSID and the transfer rate in the tooltip text.
