Yep, that is a problem. Gerrit Schoenmakers and I developed a little script that is capable of selecting automatically between cabled and WLAN interface, when launched. If the cabled interface is available, the DHCP request is not performed on the WLAN interface. Interested ?
I'd love to see this. As I understand it, with this, I can just configure my
wired interface normally, plus make sure I have drivers for the wireless card
loaded, and then your script will make wireless work when it should and wired
work when it should.

previously set up on Wifistat, and I was able to select all my normal wifi
sites.
Pretty soon, just four profiles won't be enough. Thanks for making savefunny, although this was not intended for to create "virtual profile space". I am already working on eliminating this stupid limitation of WifiState, this is a major change though and will take time. Unfortunately this will break also downwards compatibility to WifiState stored profiles. In best case, WifiState profiles still can be imported, but not longer written.
and load for me to maybe use more.
