Hi Neil,
Just tried this method in Rome - and got straight on after purchasing a 5 Euro prepaid card.  Much easier than booting to the darkside :)

Any way to toggle between available SSID's?

Cheers,

Paul.

What works for me, at least sometimes, is to leave SSID blank. Often, on
WifiStat, the SSID would be displayed. For example, in my local cafe, "Cafe
Pergolasi", it displays just fine. I get very fast access, and I just use the
blank profile.

In the San Diego airport, it displays just fine, but no communication is
possible without purchasing a $10 password, and using software that claims only
to work on Windows.

With so many free outlets, I'm not paying for access in the airport.

Neil
