I have actually at this point flashed them both with 350 firmware and as I understand it the primary difference now is that I don't have as much power from them but I am trying to lower the broadcast power anyway as I don't have much distance to cover (100ft at most) and I want to limit exposure. The problem I am having is that I can connect without wep but not with wep. On my winxp partition I can connect with wep fine. Apparently there is some sort of problem with the firmware vs the sample code/documentation that cisco provides so that the driver is not able to handle wep. Reading through the list I got the impression that an older firmware that might get wep to work but I didn't see a version (could have easily overlooked it with the sheer volume I was going through). Lewis, is there a way to search the archives?
