In fact, we don't really see how to set up a SHARED_KEY connection. This can be tricky. Most of the time the problem is not the authentication type (OPEN_SYSTEM or SHARED_KEY, most Access Points support both), but how you define the keys. The Key must be 13 printable charachters or 26 hex numbers with a leading '0x'. If you forget the '0x', then WifiStat will take the first 13 hex numbers as printable characters, and that's a different key. >We can set SHARED_KEY using MPTS, but we see no way to set it up using >WifiStat.Exe. This is correct, you can't set the authetication algorithm with MPTS. with best regards Jens Glathe. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to steward@2rosenthals.com with the command "unsubscribe os2-wireless_users" in the body (omit the quotes).
