I know that if I go to wirelless routers and bridges, there will
be out of the box support to the communication, as there is a
rj-45 cord to connect to an ethernet card, built-in on a OS/2
box or through a port. But the configuration of the wireless
routers, switches and bridges should be on some way usable in
OS/2 (telnet, www,....). And some of them go USB, and not so
easy to use.
There are pcmcia wireless-cards supported under OS/2 (I have
seen the JKacaranda and the Artem in action), but others don't.
Some new laptops come with build wireless ports, and not all of
them have os/2 support.
Perhaps would be usefull to all to construct a list of supported
hardware, even if there is no need to say it (lan equiped
routers).
I have the space to set it up publicily on a webserver, but
there are many places to go, as perhaps the main server of this
list.
