Sorry.  Didn't mean to offend.  I've just always thought the TP was high
quality but overpriced, and I found it offensive that IBM won't load their
own operating system on their own hardware.  As to Acer, I believe they manufacture some of IBM's products now.  I
bought the Medion because it was extremely reasonably priced for all that
it had onboard.  Everything works well on it with eCS except for the sound
which is AC'97 Realtek ALC201.  I get system sounds and sound in DOS, but
no sound in Warpvision and Z! plays MP3's at an accelerated speed.
