If you don't like it, I suggest that you take your complaints to:
1) Micro$oft - The refused to allow IBM to license/ship Windoze95
unless IBM stopped preloading OS/2 and the Lotus SmartSuite. [Ref from
the U.S. District Court "Findings of Fact" available on request.]
2) The US DoJ for not fully prosecuting the case that they WON and not
insisting on remedies that will inhibit future illegal activities by
M$.
3) The states that, after the DoJ gave up/in, tucked their tails in and
went home. [All except MA and WV.]
[Rant off...]
Sorry, but this is a real sore point for me too. I just feel that, if
blame is placed, it should be placed on the guilty parties. If anyone
wants the page reference in the court document, please send it OFF-LIST
so we do not clutter the real purpose of the list. Or, you can go to
the court's site and download the entire document.
