Hi all,
Should any of you be travelling downunder to New Zealand - and in particular the
capital city Wellington you can use your wireless notebooks to access the Net at a
number of entertainment and eating establishments around town.
Citylink, our broadband provider have established CafeNet - with a growing number of
access points around the Wellington CBD that are connected into Citylinks fibre
network. The SSID is "cafenet" all lower case without the quotes.
Reasonably well priced - NZD$20 will get you 120MB of traffic (currently there is no time
limit). You can sign up and purchase tokens at www.cafenet.co.nz
I don't work for Citylink - I just use their very reliable services :-)
BTW: I have a Jacaranda Blue card (Artem Comcard) - does anyone know if a native
OS/2 signal monitor/utility app exists for this card. I have heard of one that requires
EMX but would prefer a native OS/2 app.
Cheers
Igor Pool
