Most excellent!
***OFF TOPIC AGAIN ***
> My grandfather's and grandmother fight in WW2. Lucky enough to survive,

My Dad was a merchant seaman off the Normandy coast during the D-Day
invasion. Scared him to death going onshore and seeing the dead piled up
before burial. He does know war.
> why need make war
I think our plan is to interpose forces in Iraq through which to gain a
foot hold for combating the Wahhabi extremist coming out of Saudi Arabia -
not unlike we did in Germany and Japan where we still maintain forces
today - with the hopes of establishing a democracy in the region that may
bring some of these Muslims out of the 14th century way of living. Only in
this way might we combat the rising terrorism from that region of the
world. It's a totally different world today from when I grew up and a
dirty business for sure but I'm glad to have gotten my 3 years of military
service over many years ago because I certainly don't envy those young
soldiers over there today.
> Amerikans don't know what is real war
Not since Vietnam and it would seem our memories have grown short. My fear
is that if we don't nip this in the bud we will see it grow possibly
beyond our control if it isn't already at that point.
Y'all, if you'd prefer us to discuss this back channel, please let me know.
I don't intend to continue any further anyway, it was just very
interesting to have someone on the list from the Ukraine and to learn his
bent on the possibility of our moving forces into that area when leaving
Germany.
***** BACK ON TOPIC *****
I'm trying to duplicate the functionality of my peripherals on both Win2K
and eCS and have succeeded with everything but firewire which is why I'm
so interested in your progress. My interest in the wireless capabilities
for OS/2 will come forefront after my purchase of a new ThinkPad and
gaining DSL service however I expect to enable these function first on
Win2K and then on eCS.
