Thanks for the update, Alexandr! I didn't even think of Diebold having developed a driver for that, but it does make sense (so many people here in the States take ATMs for granted, and still don't realize 90+% are still - and will continue for a long time - running OS/2.

Just about FireWire. Diebold (well-known ATM manufacturer) have os/2 drivers for his firewire card and scanner. Currently, i'm deep in disassembled code of this driver. ;) Reverse engineer legal here in UA ;). So, may be in not-so-distant-future we have working firewire in /2. Problem is, as usual, lack of free time.
