Hi Alan,
Yes, I have likely written more drivers for 802.11 devices than anyone.
I've worked with may of the 11b chipsets and more recently worked on
some of the new dual band (2.4 GHz and 5. GHz) 802.11 devices, including
work with 11g hardware.

Also, I have a lot of OS/2 device driver work in my past.

If I were to make a wild guess, I'd say an OS/2 device driver could be
developed and tested from scratch in 2 months.  Our rates run $125/hour.
If we add a 50% contingency for the unknowns (making this a 2 to 3 month
project), the project costs would run in the range of $40k to $60k with
a timeframe of 8 to 12 weeks.

Let me know if you would like me to consider this further.

Thanks for contacting me.

Anybody care to contact him to see how much he'd do a, say, Linksys
driver for? Once you have one done, additional should be fairly easy to
synthesize from the first.
