For anyone interested, Creative Media Software, owned by Larry Cawley, an ex-IBMer who worked on the Warp MMOS2 subsystem 1994-1996, seems to be heavily involved in not only device driver development on multiple platforms (he also worked on MWave drivers under Warp) but particularly in 802.11b devices.
