They just connect to your network cards RJ45 port. Perhaps eventually there will be something similar as far as 802.11a and 802.11g devices: Oct 19, 2002 - From Timothy Sipples of IBM, here is an answer to many questions I get about how to get wireless networking going under OS/2 on a desktop system: In addition to the 802.11b adapters suggested in past OS2VOICE newsletters, I've found several options which work with any standard ethernet-equipped device, including PCs running eComStation or OS/2 Warp. These ethernet-to-wireless devices include the D-Link AirPro DWL-810 and Linksys WET11. Variously known as "wireless bridges" or "station adapters," you should find them for less than U.S. $100. They're increasingly popular among game console owners who want to go wireless. http://www.dlink.com/products/dwl810/ http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?grid=22&prid=432 http://www.airstation.com/english/products/wli-t1-s11g.html http://www.alloy.com.au/products/wl-1000.htm (Station Adapter mode) http://www.enterasys.com/products/items/CSISA-AX/ http://www.ydi.com/products/wec.php The above devices are universally compatible with any system that has a standard ethernet adapter. No special driver is required. Most if not all are configurable using any web browser. Timothy F.
