Check to make sure that it is on (look toward the front of the machine, under the lip). The 3945 does indeed do WPA and WPA2. My experience, however, has shown that you will have the best luck using WPA2 Personal (or PSK) Mixed on the router with TKIP+AES (this allows either or both options to be used). If you don;t have the option of "mixed" (see below), then opt for WPA. If you have difficulty with the LinkSys firmware, then I would suggest flashing to DD-WRT 2.3 or 2.4 (the latter has some nice features, but is still in beta, so if you find some oddities with it, you might want to drop back to the latest 2.3). Use the standard generic build on the GL; it works quite well. I just took a look at a client's WRT54G v4 running DD-WRT 2.3 SP2. My settings there are: WPA2 Pre-Shared Key Mixed TKIP+AES (non-dictionary, loooonnnngggg PSK) Key renewal interval (in seconds): 3600 In XWLAN, I have the profile for that client configured as follows: WPA-PSK (the "mixed" setting in DD-WRT will accept WPA and WPA2 clients).
