Isn't this sort of interference illegal in the US as in other countries ??

Surely the owners of the XBoxes are actually committing an offense ?

If this can be drawn to the markets attention, I would see Micro$oft recalling and fixing (or more likely simply replacing the X-Boxes with a modified  model).
