Since this is an executable and not a program object, I can't imagine how an end user would be able to change its properties to detached vs minimized. That said, the reason it remains running is that in order to maintain a WPA connection, the supplicant must run as a daemon process. Now, why Christian has opted to run it in a minimized window instead of as a true daemon is for him to say. :-) More info on supplicant technology is available at http://hostap.epitest.fi/wpa_supplicant/. -- Lewis ------------------------------------------------------------ Lewis G Rosenthal, CNA, CLP, CLE Rosenthal & Rosenthal, LLC Accountants / Network Consultants New York / Northern Virginia www.2rosenthals.com eComStation Consultants www.ecomstation.com Novell Users Int'l www.novell.com/openenterpriseserver Need a managed Wi-Fi hotspot? www.hautspot.com ------------------------------------------------------------ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
