I don't like doing business with the major ISPs, they usually don't give you
good service.

If you paid SBC-Yahoo for the domain name it should be yours. I use
godaddy.com for as my domain registrar. Contact a registrar such as
godaddy.com, pair.com or any of the many others and get the domain name
transferred.

Depends if you want to host your domain on your home computer. Some hosting
companies give you your own IP when they host your domain. I use pair.com's
basic hosting plan and the IP for my web site appears to be used only for my
domain. I DO NOT recommend godaddy.com as a hosting company.

My domain at pair.com gets me 400 email addresses and 500mb web site. Search
for hosting companies and pick one that has the options you want.
