I can't find a 3C90X anywhere, nor a wrapper directory for this PCI ID. I do have a spare 3CN3AC1556B, however, and a couple Xircom combo cards. I may have another Intel in a hulk around here (currently, I'm sending this from a new RC3 build on my youngest daughter's "new" T21 which I cobbled together yesterday - this one does have a working Intel combo, though I'm not sure of the modem support). >>I'd have to look at a T2x to even jog my memory as to >>what settings are >>available in the BIOS. Getting the source to even have a look may prove to be a project unto itself, I'm afraid. >Found you can set the MAC address in PROTOCOL.INI so set >that to what > it ought to be and tried again. In my experience, this is a driver issue. What Win driver version are you using in the wrapper directory? You seem to be farther along than I at this point, however. ;-) If I do turn up a spare Intel, I'll let you know and drop it in the mail.
