Amazon.com has this for $14 and there are places with it for $5 (list is $49) which shows 
that its being dumped. The amazon reviews are revealing....and it has only 1 star.... "an 
extraordinarily badly documented product.." and "Kensington USB (you'll suffer baby) 
firewall"

If he must have a Firewall beyond XP's, then get ZoneAlarm Suite whch I use on my Piii 
Laptop, won't let anything in, even if you have it set to share and you're sitting there 
giving permission... or some Norton product, like Internet Security which is almost as 
effective, but listens to your desires to share something, and works better with P2P 
networks, if he's into that kind of thing.

As for OS/2, well, we have a firewall built-in, that has a interface you can get on Hobbes 
and you can buy Injoy. IF you want password protection, there is that keyring software 
which I think went opensource, and you can put encrption/password protection on the 
passwords that Firefox uses (or better yet, not store them) and set firefox to wipe all 
cookies and session history when it closes.
