Quick (really quick) first thoughts:

    * REM out the following lines from CONFIG.SYS:

      PSD=ACPI.PSD
      BASEDEV=APM.ADD
      RUN=D:\OS2\ACPIDAEMON.EXE
          

      Then add (or unREM):

      DEVICE=C:\OS2\BOOT\APM.SYS
          

      (The T40 will not benefit - at this point in time - from the ACPI
      driver; stick with APM.)

    * Only bind TCP/IP in PROTOCOL.INI (we can add NetBIOS and/or
      TCPBEUI later on)
    * Your PROTOCOL.INI is missing vital information pertaining to which
      wrapper must be used. Try saving the following as PROTOCOL.INI and
      rebooting:

[PROT_MAN]

   DRIVERNAME = PROTMAN$

[IBMLXCFG]

   TCPIP_NIF = tcpip.nif
   W8086X1043_NIF = W8086X1043.NIF

[TCPIP_NIF]

   DriverName = TCPIP$

   DEVICE = 0x1043

Give that a shot, and let us know if you can at least get booted and get 
an IP address with XWLAN managing the card.

Also, it would be helpful if we can confirm that you have a 2100 card. 
Can you run pci.exe, snip the portion of the output related to the card, 
and post it?
