Lewis gave a wonderful wireless workshop yesterday at Warpstock. Summing up
what he said vs above gives me little hope that above card will ever work with
our operating system.
Get the GenMac driver, and look at the list of supported devices. There is no
shortage, but none will be PCMCIA.
If you have an old notebook, and need a card, I can't say enough good things
about the Cisco 350 PC card. It doesn't do WEP or WPA encryption, but it works
at every public hotspot I've tried. You have to buy it on eBay or similar, but
that makes it even cheaper. The radio portion is very good.
