Currently, I see support for three Atheros chipsets in GenMAC 2.0: Atheros Wlan [168C:0012] Atheros Wlan [168C:0013] Atheros Wlan [168C:1014] I can't readily find a PCI ID string for the card with a quick Google search, but if you run pci.exe and can identify the hardware, you might try submitting a request on the GenMAC-user list. For hotspot use, the Cisco 350 is truly a great card. I have a couple left, so if you would like one, please send me an email directly (lgrosenthal [AT} the same domain as this list). :-) PS - While the 802.11n spec references 2x2 (two transmitters and two receivers), I have seen 4x4 models, but never a 3x3. This Atheros card has some great reviews, too. It would be nice to support the chipset, even if only the PCI-Express model (though that wouldn't do you much good with your PC Card). -- Lewis ------------------------------------------------------------ Lewis G Rosenthal, CNA, CLP, CLE Rosenthal & Rosenthal, LLC Accountants / Network Consultants New York / Northern Virginia www.2rosenthals.com eComStation Consultants www.ecomstation.com Novell Users Int'l www.novell.com/openenterpriseserver Need a managed Wi-Fi hotspot? www.hautspot.com ------------------------------------------------------------ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
