I tried installing RC2 after disabling ACPI but keeping the other
settings at their defaults. The installation now progressed until the
system complains that I have a disk problem which it offered to fix.
Not knowing what the problem is -- this is a multiboot laptop -- I
chose not to proceed.
Does anyone know if I would have gotten a chance to view the nature of
the problem and to decide whether to proceed by "fixing" the problem?
