You would need to insert that widget the same way as you added the tray widget itself, so RMB -> add new widget. Important is that the Xcenter space that you RMB click on is not part of the tray. If you disabled drawing the border around the widgets, it may be a problem to find the pixel in between two widgets, that belongs to the XCenter itself. You could temporarily set the XCenter widget spacing to 10 pixels and draw the widget border - then you will be able to RMB click onto the XCenter surface.
