and I'm sure I'm doing something dumb....
Installed the latest Genmac test version, which supports both the intel
NICs in this machine.
LANTRAN.LOG shows:
LT00073: FFST/2 is installed but is not started. LANTRAN.LOG is being
created. IBM OS/2 LANMSGDD [05/21/04] 6.00 is loaded and operational.

PRO0021: A general failure occurred when the program tried to bind
TCPIP_NIF to W8086X109A_NIF.
What now?
This is with a reinstall of ECS 2 rc2. The first time, with an earlier
GENMAC, the wireless worked but MPTS wouldn't install the wired adapter.
This time MPTS installed them both without a whimper.
