It's interesting that someone has been able to get the Huawei PCMCIA or 
Cardbus 3G card working under OS/2, PCMCIA is an art in itself, there 
are PCMCIA cards that wont work unless you exclude them from PCMCIA 
support (eg some Xircom ethernet cards), Cardbus cards should install 
(in principal) like a PCI card - but it's a "b;ack art" sometimes.

For external USB powered and connected devices, refer to the article 
link I sent you earlier as that case the phone is acting as a USB 
attached broadband 3G modem. Then again you could use a 3G phone with 
the capability !
