By the way, this e-mail is being sent to you from an OS/2 system over and external (ethernet attached) 3G internet connection using the Virgin Broadband 3G Home service which uses a re-badged Option GlobeSurfer II 7.2 modem. Option have both external ethernet attached and usb attached 3G data modems.

Interesting since I was just given an opportunity to try an Option
GlobeSurfer iCON 7.2 USB modem. I visited the two links to the
GlobeSurfer products hoping to find information as how to use it under
OS/2, or, more likely, Linux. No luck, so far.
Can you tell us how you connect with your GlobeSurfer modem? Do you
use InJoy?
