I put in a bid on a 'brand new' one, coming out of Canada... Is it possible to change it without taking the whole damned laptop apart? just unscrew the the LCD screws and pop the bezel? I had the thing disassembled in a box with all the screws stuck into post-its with the service manual's page numbers for a few weeks because of the holidays and my schedule (I'm on two non-profit boards, and it's marching season and I'm the band photographer, and publish a 20-28 page newsletter each month for my synagogue)....since I changed the case bottom and palmrest bezel, it wasn't a problem, but I don't want to take it all apart again....PITA. btw after how long is it? a year, I finally got to rebuild my wife's laptop that Toshiba that I bought the pci-mini wireless card from you..2200BG? As I thought it needed XP SP2 to function (plus the cut connector and the intel drivers which are hard to find even on the intel site). What I find however is that it spends an inordinate amount of time constantly resetting itself. When the connection is actually being used it is great, but stop for more than a minute and it starts renegotiating....and then thinks its on a new connection and asks for an ip address. Is this the behavior of that card? I tried changing the settings to not roam so much...but to no avail.... =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
