Hi Lewis,

OK, I put the PCMCIA Huawei E630 Turbo3G card back in the machine and
played around with it.    Here are my findings:

First, the PCMCIA Socket Controller does not seem to change any of its
settings with the card inserted -- IRQ Level, DMA Channel, Memory
notebook page controls are all blank, I/O ports show "0x3E1-0x3E4
Address Lines: 16 EXC" regardless of whether the card is inserted or
not.

Second, the PCMCIA Auto Configurator does not list this card (of
course.)

Third, The Plug & Play for PCMCIA does recognize that a card has been
inserted but Product Information is lacking.  It seems to be recognized
as a Memory card and the Status is In.
