I'm thinking of investing in an 802.11n (draft spec) router, mainly for testing the new GenMAC support for the Intel 4965AGN card. Is anybody using any 802.11n equipment currently (under any OS), and if so, are there any recommendations? I'm leaning toward the LinkSys WRT150N, but not for any particular reason other than the fact that I'm probably more familiar with their firmware on other devices than anyone else's.

TIA

PS - I'd love to cover some of the available 802.11n stuff at Warpstock this year; not that I'm necessarily advocating that everyone jump on the draft spec bandwagon and invest in hardware which may not be compliant in another year. ;-)

I'd advise against going to 802.11N as (I believe) this is still a non-ratified draft standard still. From what I have heard - on any OS, you should use the same manufacturer for the clients NIC and the access point/router if you want it to work at the highest speeds. Given that you're using an Intel NIC, I'm not sure if Intel produce an access point and if they don't if they produce a chipset for others to use in their Access Points. I heard good things about both Linksys and D-Link but in both cases using the same make for the NIC and the router. In fact I believe these are often bundled for exactly this reason.
