I tend to agree, as long as the latest and greatest works! ;-) I guess I'm surprised it is not working on a T61. Is it really that different? It works just fine on Diane's T61. My problem was with the T43 under APM (no ACPI). ;-) Works fine here on my T42 with APM. I initially had problems because of an extraneous danis506.add that was on the root of my boot drive that was at the wrong level. I hadn't even thought to look at the root initially. I forgot that you mentioned that elsewhere. Thomas suggested the naming convention of DaniATAPI may have been at fault (perhaps I neglected to rename it to match my CONFIG entry).
