Subject: [OS2Wireless] OT: T23 fading screen

well, since this is such a good thinkpad forum....<cough cough> 

My T23 screen started to fade, that is, it would be bright at bootup and then dim. The 
video out works. 

I bought a used inverter on ebay but it's possible that it wasn't compatible in reality 
isn't it since it was a different brand and the unit was marked T21.. that doesn't seem to 
be it (or the inverter sucked). Should I Try another inverter (new) or go for the entire 
LCD assembly?
