I've got nice DSL, because it's a mom-and-pop ISP, so it's hard to imagine that another service would be less flakey than DSL. But I've talked to others who's DSL experience is less good, so I'll wish you luck with the switchover. Actually, you can't use eCS 2.0 because it isn't released yet. However, networking works just fine in every release in eCS thus far.
