Strange as it may seem, the difference between '8' and '6' just might make the difference. And, you do have FOUR of the USBUHCD.SYS statements... Right? My Dani driver is: DANIS506.ADD 73740 8-24-07 4:42p I think /V will only _show_ you what the driver(s) saw at boot time. BTW, be sure you do NOT have the USB drive inserted at boot time. Wait and insert it after the system has completed the startup. When you insert the USB, then the "Refresh Removable Media" task should pop up and tell you that "Drive-? is now available." If not, possibly you need to configure with MPTS.
