Thanks Lewis!You're welcome!
You noted::-) Happens to the best of us - believe me.
Mike, are we talking about WRT54G and WRT54GL wireless broadband routers configured for bridging, or are we talking about LinkSys' wireless bridge units? The GL implies the Linux version of the WRT54G v4, so I want to make sure that I'm discussion the same hardware as you describe.
Yes there is a glitch in the names I cited.
I'm having to cross reference Post Road Mailer inbound mail and hand cut and past it all into the PMMail beta to even send anything under my new ISP's secured SMTP connection format .. until I can get either Post Road Mailer modified for secured SMTP connections or PMMail or Polarbar fixed so that attachments are stored separated from the message itself. Scowl.Well, on the upside, secure SMTP is a great thing to have (we offer it), and I have no doubt that a future version of PMMail will support it.
The Linksys wirelese bridge is a WET54G here. I posted the letters wrong to start with. The Linksys router with Wireless ability is a WRT54GL. It is the Linxus able version. I have solved the problem now, thanks to the help here. The entire operation was done totally under OS/2 with the R40 Thinkpad. Rather than post the details here, I'd rather post them in a separate message in response to the one that woke me up to the trail down which I fixed this! Thanks for the forum, It is a wonderful help for me.My pleasure, thanks for the compliment, and you're very much welcome, buddy. :-)
