1. I finally thought to dig out the old Cisco PCCARD and move the drivers over from the T23 to the T60. 2. I installed XWLAN 300. Couldn't add the widget to the toolbar - add widget had it grayed out:-( 3. Reinstalled it as an exe and got wireless going to the machine; made moving files over much easier, since I could now FTP rather than resort to thumbnet (with the intermediate stage of booting to cmd line from the eCS 2 rc2 CD). There's still something wrong in the ecs RC2 installation that keeps it from seeing the thumbdrive (even though it is available from the cmd line from the install CD). ALso, I installed (warpin) the fat32 IFS, but on bootup it fails to find the D: partition which was created by XP as Fat32. SO - I have wireless going with the Cisco card, but still neither of the builtin adapters (Intel Pro 1000 or Intel ABG 3945 [or whatever it is; listed as supported under GENMAC).
