Sam,

I guess I'm just blind, but all I see are, essentially, ReadMe type
files that indicate the changes related to IRQs.  Do you have a
specific file name that I should look for?
 

I don't see anything that explains WHAT to change in the BIOS or what
the BIOS settings even mean.

 This is really something that should be
provided as part of the system documentation, but unfortunately, it's
not there.

The .txt files with the PCI program have a very good explanation of how PCI resources are utilized.  Also he has some web links on further information.  And the PCI program will let you know of some resource conflicts and errors that are helpful.

On my TPad T60, everything does default to IRQ=11.  But, I have no clue
how to relate the 'things' that are defaulting to any particular
device.  Nor do I have any idea what other values/settings should be
used.

I would really appreciate a little tutorial on what all that stuff
means and what I can/should do about it.
