There are 2 ways to connect with VPC... the easiest is to use the NAT (Shared Networking) but it is less robust in that you can't share drives and such.  The other is Virtual Switch which gives more options but will not work with a wireless card as it has to put the card into promiscuous mode which wireless doesn't support.
