My initial impression was that you might have been about to suggest some IRQ change. I knew that, in my case, I would not have had a clue how to do so. The nic wasn't so much a problem, it were the USB devices. USB on the contrary was close to a nightmare. And I couldn't even replace the 40 Giga harddisk with my 80 Giga one. And my bustoaster scsi PCCard didn't work either, So in the end my friend gave me back the TP41 and she got the TP43.
