Sound apparently does not work. Per Carl's post to the list in late June (you may read the entire thread in the list archives; search on "OT - Thinkpad T60?"):

Frank, my recollection is that I *had* some sound on the T60, albeit clipped. Unfortunately, I couldn't swear to it, as I worked on a T60 too long ago now to be sure (I was helping Carl test the Wi-Fi in his, so I ordered up two additional 3945ABG cards, a spare 2.5" 80GB SATA drive, and borrowed a T60 from a client for a weekend). Andy has more experience with this than do I, I believe.
