Followon to the earlier post:
After Ubunto hung trying to configure the network, I hit C-A-D. Instead
of what I expected, the live "install" continued, and the wired network
actually worked. No such luck with the wireless, however.
I booted up XP and the wired internet works. I still need to check out
the wireless.
