Not my machine; configuring another one for a grad going off to college in

This suggests this Lenovo (not built by IBM themselves) system does not have an audio chipset supported by UniAud at the time when the eCS 1.2 boot CD was created (you could try installing a later release of Uniaud but it would only be there until you reboot as it will install to the RAM disk).

Same comment with the NIC - not in GenMAC - I suspect this is a Broadcom chipset ? You could install the OS/2 driver from Broadcom themselves but again it will only be a temporary install.

Of course you will need to have these new drivers on a media you can access (USB memory key or CD) as you have no network connectivity to transfer the files over.
