The solution is NOT to change the registry to not show the error. IT appears from the HP and other computers I've seen with VISTA, that you can see the OEM's restore (system) partition on the main drive. VISTA in it's wisdom, thinks it's a backup drive, and had placed a slew of hidden backup folders. VISTA BACKUP services makes a calc to determine if there is enough space to back up a drive onto itself. There usually isn't on the restore partition, and the error shows up. It's exeacerbated by VISTA not showing the drive letter for more than a split second. HP has a great page on how to fix it: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericDocument?docname=c00859515&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
