The protocol would have two parts, the MPTS interface, and a ported BSD stack. The TCP/IP apps would be a pretty straight-forward port. All the other pieces -- network drivers and the MPTS plumbing, ought to work. I have no idea how this would play with NetBIOS over TCP/IP -- but that's already being replaced by SAMBA in eComStation.
