Do you want to use your PCMCIA slot to connect your A31p to the Internet with eCS? And you want > 11g capability? If you find such a beast please let me know. I have tried with my A22m to use such a card with eCS but there are no > drivers for it. So I'm stuck having to use Win2k to connect to the Internet. I wish I could give you some hope, but at the moment there > doesn't seem to be any for a Wireless 11g adapter and eCS. It's too new! If you want wireless connection from laptop why so intent on miniPCI? Use an access point client connected to your ethernet port. Models with such capability listed below. Airlive wl-5480ap Dlink dwl-g730ap 3com officeconnect 11g travel router Asus wl-330, 330g, 330ge Belkin f5d7233 small size f5d6130 larger Linksys wtr54gs extra ether port Trendnet tew-410apbplus tew-450apb these may be larger I wanted an Airlive, could not find in N America, Dlink was next choice but did not find any deals. Acquired the 3com which has everything except usb power connection. Using these clients you can use it for any machine, desktop or laptop. Why do I like external clients rather cards? Have a Xircom pl3-10bc parallel port nic card. Originally had for laptop without a nic. Now use it on desktop as second nic. Should I desire a laptop or other machine unplug and attach to any box. The AP clients above usually have firewalls and operate in several modes: bridge, client, repeater. Unaware of miniPCI cost but AP clients can be had for $40-90.
